Stock-Glance is a personal stock watchlist app. We are not a brokerage and do not execute trades. This page explains what information Stock-Glance collects, why, and how you can delete it.
Stock-Glance collects only what it needs to run your watchlist and alerts:
Your email address, used to sign in. Your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) — Stock-Glance never sees or stores your raw password.
The stocks you track, the price alerts you set, any investment notes you write, and any industry trackers you build. This is your data, stored so it syncs across your sessions.
A device identifier used only to deliver the price alert notifications you set up.
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used — which screens are opened and general app activity — associated with your account so we can debug issues and improve the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads, and we do not use your information for cross-app or cross-site ad tracking.
Stock-Glance relies on a small number of service providers to function. Stock data and news requests are routed through our own servers, so these providers generally only see the stock tickers involved, not who you are.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
You can permanently delete your account and everything associated with it — watchlist, alerts, notes, and industry trackers — at any time, directly in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. You don't need to contact us to do this.
Your data is protected by database-level access rules that ensure only you can read or modify your own watchlist, alerts, and notes — not even our own backend code can bypass this for routine requests. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.
Stock-Glance is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Stock prices, charts, alerts, and AI-generated news briefings are provided for informational purposes only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon as the basis for any investment decision. Stock-Glance is not a brokerage, is not a registered investment adviser, and nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Stock-Glance shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app — including but not limited to investment losses, missed or delayed alerts, inaccurate data, or notification failures — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
This also applies to any data breach, unauthorized access, hacking, or other security incident affecting your account or data, including incidents originating from a third-party service provider listed above. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data (see Section 5), no app or online service can guarantee absolute security, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the developer of Stock-Glance is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from such an incident.
You use Stock-Glance, and any information it provides, entirely at your own risk.
Stock-Glance is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years old.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
